TCU's key information for missing college students

PUBLIC INFORMATION The Tanzania University Commission (TCU) announces the public that the first phase of Student Academic Pupils who are expected to attend primary degree studies ended on 30 August 2017. The Commission informs them that it has completed the exercise of the verification of the names of all applicants who requested to join Higher Education Colleges for the 2017/18 academic year. However, since most applicants are not selected for various reasons, the Commission announces that it will open the application for the second phase from 4 to 10 October 2017 to allow the following groups to apply for exemption: • Applicants who have missed the opportunity in the first phase; • Six-year applicants who failed to apply in the first phase; • Qualified Diploma applicants who have failed to obtain the Award Verification Number (AVN); • Applicants who have finished Cambridge examinations in 2017 and have lost their results; and • Candidates of universities who will have a dispute from their previous colleges. In addition, the Commission wishes to emphasize that the application for the application is the same as used in the first phase of the Charter.
